Introduction
Cambodia is, as of today, a developing country. Government policy is not able to meet with the realities of the outstanding needs to reduce poverty & improve living conditions in order to develop human resources, wealth, and improve general education of the populace.
These difficulties are a consequence of great suffering experienced in the past.
This has led to lost opportunities for strong movements, a loss of sense of obligation, a lack of citizen participation, a lack of care for each other, and a general sense of lack of desire to build up our people. We are not effectively joining hands in order to reconstruct our nation. There are an estimated 570,000 orphans in Cambodia (UNICEF 2007).
Our goal in creating THE NEW LIFE HOME FOR KIDS is to help educate, take care of and give warmth and love to the impoverished orphans. Though education and accommodation we hope to create opportunities for these children to become healthy self-dependent members of society.
